Consider this my Christmas gift for everyone passing through YumeState this holiday season! I will now suggest my most favorite series EVER. These are stories that aren’t just entertaining, but have truly gotten me attached to the characters, and have gotten me to think a great deal about the presented themes. I’ve whittled down my list to just four series…
The year is drawing to a close, but before I start any lists for 2011, I thought to write another post for the fall season in particular. I picked four (new) characters I liked for the summer season, so I thought I ought to do something like that for fall as well.
A very short post from me today. Just wanted to say that Yumestate will most likely be experiencing a shortage of posts from all of our authors as final exams take place. We are usually forced into isolation for the next couple of weeks with our sleep deprived minds and bodies, empty coffee mugs and cups found all over our desks, neck pains from reading, and obviously notes and textbooks found on every nook and cranny of our rooms.
I wish the best to all of our authors and readers who are enduring final examinations. You are not alone!
Stay in school kids!
So far six out of seven identities have been revealed for the Servants in Fate/Zero, and this time I will write a bit about the legends behind Caster and Assassin–figures in history that are a bit less known, but are still very interesting.
There will be SPOILERS for their identities, but again I will mainly just focus on some of the interesting facts about the real-life figures.
Today I will be going over some of the basics for the legends that served as the basis for the Lancer and Archer characters in Fate/Zero. So SPOILERS for their identities, but I’ll mostly be focusing on the real-life stories as I did last time for Saber and Rider.
One of the fun things about Fate/Zero is the fact the Servants are (loosely) based on figures from history, myth, and legend, all of which tends to mix together a bit in ancient times. (And arguably still does!) I thought to do some brief research on some of the famous figures that inspired some of the characters in Fate/Zero, and share some of the basic details here.
I will be covering Saber and Rider in this post. So if you haven’t watched much of the show yet, this post will contain some SPOILERS!
